Team LCQ Earns Hardware

Congratulations to Charlotte Lalonde and Crawford Kilpatrick on there 2012 quest for the Championship at NCKC 2012 series. Charlotte managed to win Briggs and Stratton senior class and was crowned Champion at the NCKC banquet last weekend at Fun Heaven. This was by far the most competitive class this year. Charlotte and her CRG kart were fast and consistent all year long. Special thank go to KDM racing ( Kelly Michaud) for an awesome engine package that never failed us all year. KDM has also been chosen for our official engine supplier for the 2013 season.

Crawford Kilpatrick also had an awesome season. Crawford managed to also be crowned the 2012 4 stroke GT champion. Unfortunately Craw was not able to attend the banquet but the trophy was accepted by James White. This was Crawford's Rookie season and was also crowned rookie of the year. His LCQ prepared Arrow chassis was fast, fast and faster as the year progressed. Crawford driving skills progressed rapidly throughout the season with many hours of practice and coaching by LCQ team instructors. Crawford's kart was also powered by B&S from KDM Racing again very consistent and never failed him.

LCQ is looking forward to it's 2013 racing series. Details are being posted when available. If anyone is interested in joining our team please do not hesitate to contact us.

NCKC Enduro a Success!

What a great weekend of racing at Le Circuit Quyon (LCQ)! The 2012 edition of the National Capital Kart Club (NCKC) Invitational Enduro was a massive success, with great racing in the Junior, Rotax, and Senior classes! Initially, everyone was preparing for a rainy race weekend; however, the weather Gods intervened and provided us with beautiful (albeit cool) weather for race day! The event went off without a hitch: no injuries; only a few bent parts; and no major accidents! It was a great mix of seasoned veterans and enthusiastic novice racers showing up at 8am to prepare for a long day of racing, with the Senior class having the largest field composed of 22 teams. The size of the Senior field made for an interesting starting grid and a few hairy first laps until the race settled down. All in all, a fantastic weekend was had by all and hopefully some of the novice racers have been bitten by the racing bug!

LCQ would like to give a big thanks to all of the volunteers, spectators, racers, and crew members for contributing to another amazing race day! LCQ is proud to be your circuit of choice in the National Capital Area, and is eagerly anticipating the 2013 racing season! C’mon Spring!

Track Extension Designs

LCQ Building

Hey fellow karters! We hope winter is treating you all well. We have been busy in the preparatory work for the track extension. We are also glad to announce our new building to be erected sometime in early spring witch will house our new reception and kart shop. Attached are drawings that Terry McGonigal has been working on relentlessly as we are on our 14th example. The attached design has been submitted for asphalt tendering and will be laid sometime in May or June. Why I say June, we must be completely dried up to install our new asphalt. Keep your fingers crossed for some dry weather in the spring. The earlier it is dry the sooner we race on our new extension.

We will have storage available, completely enclosed area's for rent are 10x15, ( mini storage style). We have 8 units for rent varying in price and track package.

10x15 unit 125.00 per month, 3 months minimum.

Early Bird Special: 12 month rental and season track pass $1200.00

For more information, contact Paul Lalonde at 613-223-2541 for more details.

Regards
Paul and Cathy.
